What to Bring
At 1-2-1s and small groups at the Sound Studio everything is laid on. Just bring yourself.
At Group sessions you will need to arrive 15 minutes or so before we start. You will need a yoga mat or some kind of comfortable underlay to lie on and blankets in the winter months . Eye masks are also recommended
Be comfortable at all costs.
What will Happen
At our 1-2-1’s and Group sessions we give you the opportunity to relax and unwind; to take some time off and feel able to do nothing.
After a small introductory story or meditation including breathing exercise we will play our collection of gongs and singing bowls and other therapeutic instruments to create a varied and memorable sound journey. There are silences as well as crescendos of sound and a sensitive interplay between gongs and singing bowls. The sessions are all unique and are dependant upon factors such as the acoustics of the different spaces and rooms, the people within it and the seasons.
The sessions last for approximately 45 minutes. People spend a while coming back to themselves and take the chance to reflect and talk. Home-made refreshments are served. There will be no rush to go.
After the Soundbath
