Jo Carter
Sound Practitioner
Jo’s journey into the world of sound healing began when she was looking for emotional support when her Dad was first diagnosed with cancer.
Following a friends recommendation she attended her first gong bath where she experienced a sene of great peace and stillness through the vibrations.
Jo realised that she needed to share the therapeutic benefits of healing through sound and vibrations.
After attending training experiences and study with various Gong Masters; Sheila Whittaker and the Gong Master training with Aidan McIntyre and Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux she felt ready to offer sound baths for family and friends in the Sound Studio in Alton.
in 2022, she held her first group sound bath in Alton at the Quaker meeting house which has continued to grow organically into a monthly at bigger venue in Chawton village hall.

Richard Farrington
Sound Practitioner
Before being inspired by the Gongmaster training at Hawkwood in 2022 and experiencing the pleasure of sharing sounds and holding sound-baths; Richard made sculpture professionally for over four decades. His love of sound creation is deeply rooted in his creative practice and comes as a relief after a lifetime of manipulating denser materials.
He now specialises in creating mesmerising group sound experiences, solo and in partnership with Jo as well as delivering memorable 1-2-1s, at their Sound Studio that he built.
